Yikes! Not to worry, this will be easy, I promise ;).

    • The Goal. Many people make the mistake of thinking your resume is what gets you the job. When you have this mentality is when you have waaaaaay too much information listed. The goal is to do one thing and one thing only, GET A PHONE CALL. Here we'll see how to craft your resume to encourage a manager to call you back.
    • You Only Have 12 Seconds with the manager when they look at your resume. It is absolutely CRITICAL that you create each section of your resume for maximum effect. You'll see exactly what works...how, what and why.
    • Phone Rules. VERY IMPORTANT. Get this wrong and they will never call you again, guaranteed. See the mistakes that most people make when they get called back and how to avoid them yourself.
    • Line by Line. Together we will walk through exactly what to do, step by step, line by line, to fill out your shiny new custom resume to have maximum effect in getting you noticed.
    • Your Email Address and Voice Message might be keeping you from getting the job. How to not sabotage your chances of getting a job before you even talk to a manager.
    • Special Skills and Interests. Should you have this section? Generally no, however there are a select few situations, see if you can put something in here that will help or if you should skip it.
    • References. Anyone can be a reference. Most of the time when they ask for a reference its usually a bluff as most are never called. However, sometimes they will be called so its important to see here what are the best types of references and how to get them.
    • Bonus Ideas. These are MY secrets that I use...This is where you will truly eliminate your competition forever.

This is the single most effective technique I’ve discovered to make sure you stand out from your competition
    • Letters of Recommendation (sample rec letter folder located at the bottom of this page below resume downloads).
